This worksheet helps tenth-grade students match each linear equation with another equation that is either parallel or perpendicular to it. Students work with two sets of equations and connect each item in Set A to the correct item in Set B. After making the match, they identify whether the relationship is parallel or perpendicular. This gives students practice comparing equations that may be written in different forms.

For example, one equation may already be written as y = 2x + 5, while its match may be written in standard form and need to be rearranged before the slope becomes clear.
